Your tasks

ISCC - International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is one of the leading certification systems for sustainability, traceability and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. If you are passionate about sustainability and would like to join our highly motivated and diverse teams to make a difference, we are looking forward to welcoming you as Working Student for the ISCC PLUS Team.
As a Student Assistant, you will support the ISCC PLUS team in its day-to-day operations and ongoing projects, including:

  • Policy Research & Analysis: Conduct research on national and international legislative frameworks related to sustainability, labour and human rights, gender, biomass, biofuels, and recycling.
  • System Development: Assist in the development of the ISCC PLUS certification system by providing research insights and supporting documentation updates.
  • Meeting & Presentation Support: Help coordinate meetings, prepare presentations, and support stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Administrative Assistance: Organize project materials, maintain records, and support the coordination of team activities.

Your profile

  • You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Law, Environmental and/or International Policies, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • You have a proficiency level in English (C1); Spanish is desirable.
  • You have strong research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to summarize complex regulatory topics.
  • You have excellent writing skills, particularly in drafting professional reports and policy summaries.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.
  • You are available for 16-20 hours/week for at least one year (preferably longer).
  • You are passionate about sustainability and enjoy discussing relevant legislation and policies.
