As a Senior Manager within the Sustainability Business division you will be a part of the the Private Equity & Sustainable Finance Practice within Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business division , a leading sales organization within our global market place, as well as one of the fastest growing, innovative and dynamic teams within the Schneider Electric Group. In this position you will be leading the commercial engagement with the financial institutions in the DACH zone. You’ll be part of an organisation that thrives not only on creating strategic vision but really driving the impactful solutions.
Your IMPACT:

• Drive business development in sustainability advisory and energy management in the financial sector: generating business leads, developing a pipeline, scoping integrated strategic sustainability solutions and ultimately winning new business in line with the practice objectives.
• Support Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business offering development and serve as trusted advisor on strategic and operational issues.
• Identify new business opportunities and developing proposals for new/ follow-on engagements with covered accounts.
• Collaborate with multiple sales teams, consulting teams, solution architects and marketing teams in order to execute and orchestrate customer solutions. This will also include mentoring and supporting junior members of the commercial sales team.
• Participate in thought leadership activities.

About You:

• University degree in finance, business, economics, sustainability, environmental sciences, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of consulting and/or consultative selling experience in sustainability, efficiency, renewables and/or energy strategy. A track record of successfully winning new business and developing accounts is required.
• Have a proven track record in working in the Private Equity and/or Financial Services industry. Experience working at senior executive level (Partner, Head of ESG, Fund Manager) is essential.
• Experience in working in an investor environment, with sound knowledge of ESG regulations and industry drivers. Having exposure to private equity, and portfolio management activities would be highly appreciated.
• Understanding and network of contacts in the financial sector, especially in private equity is an advantage.
• Fluent in German and English with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Any additional language is an asset.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on multiple complex projects in diverse areas.
• Be prepared to undertake national and international travel within EU.
