Our Monheim facility is the workplace of 90 RD&E associates from 14 nationalities and serves as the European headquarters for Ecolab’s R&D activities. All research and development work for the Institutional, Textile Care, Food & Beverage and Health Care divisions in Europe is carried out here.
We are looking for a:
Packaging Engineer (m/f/d ; 6-month contract) - based in Monheim am Rhein
Your responsibilities

• Support integration of packaging components into a specification system
• Author technical specifications based on packaging performance requirements
• Able to read and compare technical drawings and technical data sheets
• Work directly with current Ecolab vendors and third parties to gather data on a variety of packaging components
• Communicate cross-functionally within RD&E and additionally to corporate functions such as Regulatory, Quality, and Supply Chain

Your profile

• University degree either in packaging engineering, chemical or mechanical engineering
• Good communication & collaboration skills, excellent ability to work in team environment
• Good team player
• Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Fluency in English is a must
• Ability in French is highly preferred
