Herzog IP is a boutique firm offering end-to-end patent and IP services to domestic and international clients in the heart of Dusseldorf and Munich. Our team consists of native German, English, Chinese and Portuguese speakers. We have been consistently identified by Statista as one of Europe’s leading patent law firms. We serve a wide range of clients from across the world and various industry sectors and technical fields.
We are currently looking for a motivated legal professional (m/f/x), full-time to join our Team in Dusseldorf.
You will:
*receive a full in-house training to learn the tasks of a patent paralegal.
*be supported if you choose to qualify as a patent paralegal.
*receive our support when applying for appropriate work permits.
*be a proactive member of our team.
*support our attorneys in their work with clients, law firms and public authorities.
*handle communication with international clients, law firms, patent offices and courts
*be responsible for the administration and control of procedural matters at patent offices and courts, as well as controlling the related workflows.
*also be supported in aquiring a decent command in German.
You have:
*a university level education in law (e.g., Bachelor or Masters), which may be from outside of Europe.
*computing fluency (e.g., MS Office, MS Teams). You will get full training in our case management system.
*the motivation to develop expertise in the field of Intellectual Property Law.
*high standards of accuracy and precision.
*a strong ability to work independently.
*the opportunity to work flexibly.
*fluency in English (spoken and written skills)
Nice-to-have:
*Work experience as a Paralegal or in the patent system.
*German language skills or the motivation to learn.
*Maybe you have language skills in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish or Portuguese.
