Lecturer in English Linguistics (Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben)

The Department of English, American and Celtic Studies is currently seeking to employ a
Lecturer in English Linguistics
(Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben) (100%)
The position will be available from 1 October 2025 until 30 September 2027.
Your responsibilities:

• Teaching in English linguistics at undergraduate and postgraduate level (16 hours per week),
• Assessment, examining, administrative and pastoral responsibilities relating to the courses taught.

Your qualifications:

• PhD in English Linguistics,
• Experience in teaching English linguistics,
• Fluency in English, and fluency or near-fluency in German.
