Your Contribution

  • Planning/Forecast: Manages the preparation of the annual financial plan for all units at the site. Ensures in cooperation with the site manager the involvement of all relevant areas, data consistency and feasibility of budget.
  • Controlling: Analyzes the development of the site by preparing and commentating the monthly results. Develops and implements recommendations for actions and monitors future trends. Advises site management in financial related topics and prepares suggestions for the improvement of operations. Prepares financial analysis for investments and acquisitions, prepares simulations and scenarios and points out critical issues in due course.
  • Reporting: Prepares monthly key figures and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for SCHOTT reporting. Supports BU controller proactively and demand-oriented.
  • Compliance: Supports in all internal and external site audits. Ensures the integrity of financial transactions by strict compliance with local GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial & Reporting Standards). Guarantees, that controlling and accounting processes correspond to group guidelines
  • Site Management: Ensures that financial aspects are adequately considered in all decisions made by management team.
  • Supervision: Leads, promotes, and motivates the employees within his/her area of responsibility, especially performance appraisal and goal setting agreement, successor and representative planning, personnel development and training measures.
  • Check bank account.
  • Checking the following ledger:General Ledger (GL), Purchase Ledger (PL), Sales Ledger (SL).
  • Monitoring and handle routine activities related bank.
  • Check all transaction/voucher (documents, approval, journal and amount) excluding finance category.
  • Analyze the balance account in general ledger: check the increase and decrease of account’s balance comparing to the last data and budget, get the detail of each month.
  • Check reconciliation of account payable and expense.
  • Check confirmation of account payable.
  • Update cost calculation.
  • Ensure the implementation of existing system and procedure.
  • Support in all internal and external site audits.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial transaction by strict compliance with local General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial & Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Guarantee that controlling and accounting processes correspond to SCHOTT standards, regulations and guidelines.
  • Timely information to superior on transaction/posting that could have significant influence to company performance.
  • To make monthly tax report which is related to: PPh Article 21; PPh Article 23; PPh Article 26; PPh Article 22; PPh Article 25;
  • Making monthly report Value Added Tax (PPN).
  • Check cash and bank balance.
  • Conducting preparation closing financial statement.
  • Conducting monthly account receivable evaluation.
  • Conducting monthly account payable evaluation.
  • Do the monthly and yearly stocktaking.
  • Creating LKPM report.
  • Creating RTE report.
  • Give data support/explanation to auditor.
  • Do account receivable/account payable reconciliation with inter company.
  • Do fixed asset posting, maintenance and checking.
  • Giving instruction and coaching to the subordinates.
  • Completing internal or external audit together with auditor
  • Coordinate company saving project activities.
  • To do other job related tasks as assigned by superior.

Your Profile

  • University degree in economics, main focus on controlling or accounting
  • 5 years occupational experience in Finance
  • MS Office, SAP R3 FI/CO, good command of the English language
  • Have a good knowledge on accounting cycle and system, IFRS and Local GAAP.
  • Have a good know knowledge on taxation.
  • Knowledge and understand about the ISO 9001 and ISO 15378 requirements
  • Knowledge and understand about the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements
  • Able to carry out hazard identification and EHS risks assessment as well as identification and assessment environmental aspects of environmental impact
