Bringen Sie Ihr Expertenwissen, Ihre Erfahrungen und Ideen ein, um zu Lehr- und Lerninnovation an unserer Hochschule beizutragen. Seien Sie darauf vorbereitet, ein vielfältiges Portfolio an Projekten zu haben und das Lernen und Lehren an der WHU zu verändern, während Sie gleichzeitig dazu beitragen, die führende Position der WHU im Bereich Business Education zu festigen. Im Gegenzug werden Sie Teil unseres sympathischen und motivierten Teams, das Ihre persönliche Weiterentwicklung in diesem Bereich fördert.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Leitung des Learning Innovation Teams, bestehend aus Experten für Instructional Design und Bildungstechnologien.
- Erarbeitung der Strategie und der Strukturen zur Verbesserung der Lernprozesse und der Erfahrungen der Studierenden an der WHU.
- Erkundung des Mehrwerts potenziell disruptiver Technologien wie KI und AR/VR für das Studienerlebnis an der WHU.
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Studienprogrammen, Fakultät und Fachabteilungen mit Blick auf die Studierendenperspektive.
Ihr Profil
- Einschlägiger Bildungshintergrund, vorzugsweise ein akademischer Abschluss.
- Ein Führungsstil, der jedes Teammitglied in seinem Fachgebiet stärkt und wertschätzt.
- Die Fähigkeit, einen strategischen Überblick zu behalten und gleichzeitig zu erkennen, wann man sich in die Besonderheiten und Details eines Themas vertiefen muss.
- Einschlägige Berufserfahrung im Bereich des Lernens und Lehrens, vorzugsweise im Hochschulkontext.
- Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeit in Englisch und Deutsch.

Your mission
- Manage the Learning Innovation team, a team of experts in instructional design and educational technology.
- Set up the strategy and structures to improve learning journeys and the student experiences at WHU.
- Explore the value added of potentially disruptive technologies like AI and AR/VR for the WHU student experience.
- Cooperate closely with study programs, faculty, and professional staff departments with an eye on the student perspective.
Your profile
- Relevant educational background, preferably an academic degree.
- A leadership approach that empowers and values each team member in their area of expertise.
- The ability to maintain a strategic overview while recognizing when to delve into the specifics and details of a topic.
- Relevant work experience in the area of learning and teaching, preferably within a higher education context.
- Strong personal and written communication skills in English and German.
