What you’ll be doing:

Responsibility for accurate and timely submission of all EMEA income tax returns, including creating and maintaining processes to ensure the reliability of tax returns prepared. Coordination and review of all income tax returns.
Act as the main point of contact for all EMEA entities on income tax compliance and reporting matters under the supervision of the Head of Tax.
Ensure to capture all direct tax and WHT related compliance requirements and deadlines as well as to monitor compliance status.
Improve the EMEA income and deferred tax reporting process by working on day-to-day income tax related tax topics and projects.
Responsibility for the monthly, quarterly and yearly income and deferred tax reporting for the including its consolidation.
Secure correct accounting of current and deferred tax.
Review of work produced by external advisers, providing technical input / support to tax projects.
Act as a tax-technical resource (in-house tax advisor) for the business and for other members of EMEA Group Tax under the supervision of the Head of Tax.
Provide tax input to Group Treasury, Group Legal, Group HR and Group Reporting, Group Strategic Planning & Controlling teams where required.
Support the Head of Tax concerning tax planning, tax strategy and tax risk management; regularly updates for the European Board and Executive Management team on significant tax issues and developments.
Maintain a high level of awareness of current tax issues, legislation, and best practice.

What you’ll bring with you:

A completed tax education or degree in business administration supplemented by a German tax advisor degree
Fluent German and English skills (written and spoken)
Professional experience of at least or more than 5 years gained within a large international organization, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
Experience with European / EMEA tax regimes and strong grounding in (tax) accounting and reporting.
High self-confidence level and strong analytical skills
Excellent communications skill, proactive attitude and a team player
IT Skills (good knowledge in MS Office, in particular Excel, SAP)
