As the Consulting Engineer Ultrasound, you will be the Goto person for all technical related questions, being responsible for planning technical roadmaps incorporating the latest technologies for our products, develop their concepts and review them during the development and lifecycle.
As the Consulting Engineer Ultrasound, you will be responsible for:
All technology related ultrasound questions, especially technology roadmaps and current and future technology stack
Conceptual design, analysis and technical guidance for NPI/NTI projects in the area of ultrasonic products (Devices, Probes, Software)
Approving, chairing, reviewing projects for the technical part
Supporting the strategic business planning
Mentoring of team members and grow talent
Able to step into multiple roles in a project
Evaluating complex technical issues and support the problem-solving process
Writing, reviewing and presenting technical papers aligned with the technology roadmap
Connecting with external organizations and technology partners
Supporting the patent evaluation process

To be successful in your role, you should bring the following to the table:
A true technologist and UT visionist.
MS in physics or the engineering field as well as a true technologist and ultrasound visionist.
Minimum 15 years of experience in the field of non-destructive testing with ultrasound.
Strong track-record in positioning the business for future hardware, software trends having also astrong software background.
Comfortable and familiar with accelerated development cycle
Well entrenched in understanding and evaluation of future technologies
Sound understanding of international standards and norms impacting technology
Established and proven network in industry as well as proven understanding of the customer requirements across the different channels
Leverages technical expertise beyond the current field
Sought out across business to bring creative solutions to difficult problems
Takes full ownership for technical decisions and guidance given
Maintaining professional oral and written communication with the appropriate attire for the environment
