For one of our clients we are looking for a Consultant Operational Contract & Vendor Management NSR
Project description: As part of the client organization the “Contract & IT Sourcing Management” (CSM) unit deals with software licenses, vendors and accompanied contracts for a strategic solution of the business needs and the procurement strategy design and execution.
Tasks
- To review incoming “non standard requests” (NSRs) for services/projects that will be provided existing strategic IT vendors in terms of adherence to contractual requirements based on the contractual requirements provided by the client in advance and own professional experience and knowledge on a weekly basis. Presentation of the results of these reviewed requests on a weekly basis for a sign-off.
- To process the NSRs throughout their lifecycle (requesting, offer validation, ordering, invoice verification) through own professional expertise and through the following process: Provision of suggestions about the resolving of the NSRs in every lifecycle step to the client on a weekly basis. The client decides and signs-off every lifecycle stage as a last step before proceeding with the next stage.
- Steering the necessary communication between the project leads and internal and external stakeholders with the aim to process the NSRs as swiftly as possible and to provide as up-to-date suggestions as possible.
- To check if the correct IT vendor is allocated based on the information coming from a list of vendors provided by client in advance. Presentation of the results to the client.
- To check if the requested service/project is not part of any existing services contract. Presentation of the results to client.
- To steer the integration of the NSR process into client new order management tools
- To provide feedback on a weekly basis on optimization measures to reduce the overall amount of NSRs.
- Clear appearance as an external consultant of client whenever interacting with external parties.
Must have:
- English and German (as documents must be understood and checked in both languages).
- Structured work and basic knowledge of IT contracts (it does not have to be a lawyer).
- There is the mass contract business and then there are more complex topics - here someone is needed for special requests (medium-complex contracts).
- At least 3 years of professional experience is required, as communication with experienced stakeholders is a given.
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.

Location: 100% home office, but for onboarding onsite in Hanover or Düsseldorf
Capacity: 20h/week
Duration: till end of April 2025. An extension is possible, depending on the status of the project next year.
