As a Business Development Manager (m/w/d) you will help identify and assess strategic fields of action based on the company/group strategy and business potential with new technologies.

• You develop business cases and business models for parts of the new and existing business and take on the assessment of the impact on the overall portfolio and decision-making
• You carry out market and customer analyses to assess market potential as well as trend analyses and create profitability analyses
• You identify portfolio gaps, potential and implementation measures and carry out risk and feasibility analyses in coordination with the stakeholders involved
• You advise management on strategic issues relating to the product portfolio and manage strategically oriented projects

You have many years of experience in the telecommunications industry - ideally both at group level and in operational responsibility in the country. A comparable vocational training with a corresponding specialization or additional specialist training or several years of professional experience in the field of business development and innovation.
You are also characterized by detailed company-specific knowledge or exceptional specialist knowledge and skills:

• Very good experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation
• Excellent experience in managing strategically oriented projects
• Expert in the evaluation of business opportunities and digital business models
• Expert knowledge in the field of market research, understanding and the relevant product portfolio
• Expert knowledge in business case justification (BCJ)
• Excellent understanding of technology and customer/market focus
