Ph.D. Researcher Cell Painting for Ecotoxicology (all genders)
You conduct literature work and design and execute your experiments independently
Develop, implement, and perform Cell Painting assays with different cell lines
Conduct cell culture, assay development and measurements in the laboratory
Perform miniaturizedin vivoexperiments with daphnia or algae
Communicate the obtained results in internal and external meetings (e.g. conferences) and via publications

WAS SIE MITBRINGEN

You have a Master’s degree in cell biology, biochemistry, ecotoxicology or a related field
You bring a strong background in cell culture and basic skills in a programming software (e.g. R)
Experience with cell-based assays, fluorescence microscopy and data science are a plus
You work detail-oriented and are enthusiastic about the project
You have the ability to work independently as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team at two project partners (Bayer AG & UFZ)
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
